Value Slam – 30 Years Peaceful Fall of the Berlin Wall | Why Values Matter
On the occasion of the 30 year anniversary of the peaceful revolution and fall of the Berlin Wall, the Museum for Values develops an interactive workshop and exhibition concept to make stories tangible and take part in designing the future. The MfW takes control of one of seven places in the capital that turns into a big open air exhibition and event site for an entire week. The exhibition Parcours lasts a whole day, as does the workshop at the Programmpavillon on Breitscheidplatz where a diverse and multigenerational group comes together to exchange perspectives and explore values. The original settings are developed in cooperation with the Culture Projects Berlin, the Senate Department of Culture and Europe and other sponsors. They invite visitors to inform themselves, remember and pick up dialogues with others.
