The object depicts a threaded bracelet. I chose it because, in my work as a kindergarten teacher, it repeatedly demonstrates how important friendship is for even young children. Not a day goes by without lovingly crafted objects being given to friends. It's a fundamental need for children to create something with their own hands to make a friend happy. These objects are often also made for family members or given to me and other colleagues. This object is meant to remind us that values are experienced and formed early and require friendly and loving support.
