When I became unable to work in my first job and realized that it no longer aligned with my values, I decided to train for my dream career. Since this was supposed to be subsidized retraining, I didn't make the decision myself. My request was rejected. The reason: "Based on your biographical experiences, you can't become a kindergarten teacher. If you want to do something social, then look for volunteer work." I did that and a lot more. Contrary to all outside advice, and despite all the financial, time, and social sacrifices, I trained to become a kindergarten teacher and studied at the same time. I wasn't prepared to let myself and my vision be bought off and to become dependent on people who had little confidence in me. I completed my training and studies, share my values and visions with the world, and accompany and support young people on their journey. Because I believe in them. I have fulfilled my potential.
