When I left school, I received a
self-made wooden flower. Each student individually presented me with his/her
Work and thanked everyone for the two years they had spent together.
It was highly emotional and my voice failed me at times.
This never-wilting bouquet of flowers shows much more than gratitude.
We were united by respect, trust and appreciation, coupled with love.
It was a unique connection between students and teacher.
The bouquet is still a symbol of solidarity today.
