As teenagers in the 80s, we were very creative in order to have unique clothes and jewelry. We sewed, dyed, tie-dyed, painted, appliquéd, embroidered, knitted, crocheted, and macraméed. For example, pants made from white cotton bedsheets, sweatshirts made from brushed men's undershirts, cloths made from cotton diapers, jewelry made from parcel string... The picture shows one of my remaining pairs of pants from around 1983, sewn from bedsheets, dyed, and painted. I loved them :-) // ENG As teenagers in the 80s, we were very creative in order to have unique clothes and jewelry.
