My boyfriend and I went to a concert with my parents and uncle in a classical concert hall with fixed seating. The evening began with us meeting some friends by chance, much to everyone's delight. We were a colorful bunch of people, young and old. The band we were seeing is known for its danceable music, and we were wondering how we would spend the evening sitting on our chairs. But as soon as the first song began, people got up from their seats, dancing and clapping. At first a few people were there and timid. Later, everyone was there, swept away by the music. By the end of the concert, no one was sitting in their seats anymore; instead, people were standing in the stands and in front of the stage dancing. It was a colorful and communal evening that no one had expected, and we drove home with a smile on our faces.
