My mother-in-law. Not exactly tall, with white hair. A school principal. Very disciplined. Always walked to school. Back then. My father-in-law said that when she exceptionally boarded the school bus in very bad weather, it would suddenly fall silent. The students had a great deal of respect for her. She was always fair, so they said. Always disciplined. She always demanded the same of herself. When she was alone because her husband died after many years together, she mastered this as well. She sold the house, moved to another city, and into her own small house. All of this within a short period of time. At the age of 85. She was always there for her family. She died at the age of 92. Until then, she lived independently and self-sufficiently. Even though I didn't have a close relationship with her, I always had great respect for her and her life's work until the end. She remains a role model for my children. Perhaps I just wrote an obituary...
