Since the 1970s I have been spending my holidays on an island on the
French Atlantic coast. I have fallen in love with this island. For a long time
My wife and I have a small house there. For me, it is a
A place of silence and retreat, on the other hand a place for the family, where
meet up and spend the summer holidays together with the children and grandchildren
spends.
The Atlantic is the center of our day here, the beach, the roar of the
Surf, the calm shimmering sea, the dunes with the scent of
Immortelles: a wonder of nature. But this wonder is threatened.
Plastic of our fast-paced times is destroying this idyll, the oceans of the world
suffocate in our waste of prosperity. Many people have no respect
from the sea and its creatures.
I often walk along the beach and admire the variety of the sea
worked stones; oval, round, unique and endless bizarre
Shapes and colors alternate. This stone that I found on the beach
is for me a work of natural art, which in its uniqueness and
Beauty was created without human intervention, my symbol for
the respect for the sea and nature.Since the 1970s I have been spending my holidays on an island on the
