We recently used our cups for breakfast again, which we brought back from a weekend vacation in Thuringia in 1977, specifically from Reinhardsbrunn Castle. I follow the reports on MDR television as often as possible, which now, after 30 years, bring the negative and positive activities of the Treuhand and other administrative bodies to the public with substantiated facts in interesting reports. Then I had the idea, even if it's not from Chemnitz, but closely connected to the Treuhand, to bring this topic up here, because it's truly scandalous what the Treuhand has done here, that this castle has been destroyed like this. These cups are the "hook" for me to the memory, and we still use them. My girlfriend and I had sore throats and coughs there. So we always took tea to our room in the Kavaliershaus in the evening and didn't return the cups in the morning. At that time, the so-called "blue onion pattern" was fashionable, but somewhat difficult to buy. But since no one noticed the "return" thing, we just took it with us.
