UNDIVIDED
A project about memory & future – and the dialogue that arises in between
Values emerge through exchange – across generations. UNGETILT · UNDIVIDED is a project about closeness, responsibility, and what holds us together as a society. Young people from all over Germany immersed themselves in the realities of their grandparents' lives – not as passive listeners, but as inquisitive, questioning, and reflective voices of our present.
In a dialogic process, conversations, objects, and stories were woven into an exhibition that connects past and future. The exhibition opened up spaces for exploring personal values, gaining new perspectives on historical ruptures—and revealing which experiences can provide guidance even today.
UNGETEILT · UNDIVIDED represents a new form of social remembrance: emotional, interactive, and curated by young people themselves. Instead of emphasizing generational conflict, the project focuses on togetherness—as a resource for solidarity, resilience, and the will to shape the future. Because when we listen to one another, we can learn from one another—and shape the future together.

A space between past and future. In the heart of Berlin, a former car dealership became the starting point of a special journey: a place that not only housed stories, but also became history itself. For the exhibition UNGETEILT · UNDIVIDED, the vacant space was transformed into an atmospheric experience space – with room for encounters, memories, and shared learning.
In collaboration with Transiträume eV , a non-profit organization committed to creative interim use and social urban development, a temporary home was created for dialogue formats, workshops, a conference, and numerous events. The space was deliberately transformed minimally to visualize the tension between past and future —raw, open, and ready for new perspectives.
The choice of location was no coincidence: Where mobility was once sold, a place of inner movement was created. A space that demonstrated how, through sharing experiences, we can shape not only spaces but also society.
