My name is Ellen Uloth , I'm a grandmother of three, I grew up in East Germany, I was an entrepreneur, and at the beginning of 2026 I'll be organizing the "MEANING|POWER|PROFIT – for a sustainable economy of tomorrow" congress for the seventh time. I live in an intergenerational housing project and am so happy about our sense of community and life with 30 children, their parents, and people like me. It was the best decision of my life.
Responsibility is a value that guides me in life.
For me, it's particularly about personal responsibility. Because when I take full responsibility, I can be effective. Then I'm aware that while I can't determine what challenges life throws my way, I can determine how I deal with them and what I make of them.
Truthfulness is a value that constantly challenges me.
She challenges me to stand by my values and live by them. She invites me to engage with the other person, to find what connects us, and to relate to it. At the same time, she challenges me to be open and, if necessary, to make myself vulnerable.
Goodwill is a value that our society should embrace more.
If we can assume that each other is only acting in the best interests of the other, then we can maintain dialogue even in difficult situations. We can talk about our interests and needs and how they can be pursued and met constructively. If we approach each other with goodwill, we will find common ground and shared solutions.
