I wanted to capture an image that represents one of my greatest joys in life. Moments before we both fall asleep; Tyler is on his phone until he starts to get tired. I know this image is rather simple, but I wanted to capture the simplicity of us. I find great joy in sleeping or napping with my partner. He is my best friend. He is the one I can turn to when I need someone to talk to, and he knows I'm there for him. When we cuddle, there is a feeling of belonging, love, warmth, happiness, and being at home. I value our friendship, our authenticity, our different races, our different interests, our honesty, our loyalty, our respect for one another, and our love. I feel great joy and gratitude when I see this image, and I hope you do too.
