During the most difficult time of my life so far, a very dear friend was always there for me. She had just had her baby, but I could still come to her whenever I wanted. We sat on that pink carpet and talked for hours. This time, and especially the unconditional attention and friendship, ensured that our bond grew even deeper. I will always be grateful to her for this time, and the "pink carpet" has become a familiar phrase for us for "crisis talks" and time to listen.
