I treasure my rings because they were gifts from my parents when I achieved new successes in life. Even though they are small things, they hold special meaning for me. My mother bought me the Pandora ring for my 17th birthday. That same week of my birthday, I had my first exhibition of my photography, after years of not thinking I would achieve it. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I had a dinner with my friends and family, and my mother gave a speech saying how proud she was of me and that she fully supported me. The other ring is my senior year ring. I remember my father giving it to me at my final school dinner. Since my junior year, I had been hinting that I wanted a class ring, and knowing that I was heard and my hints didn't go unnoticed means a lot to me.
