My name is Benita Grigutsch , a recent bachelor's graduate, and I'm currently finding my place in society. Professionally, I'm gradually taking on more responsibility in the political arena, and personally, I'm learning to live my life autonomously.
Empathy is a value that guides me in life.
For me, empathetic interaction is the foundation for a good community. Acknowledging different opinions, feelings, and perspectives helps us treat each other with respect – in big things as well as small. Empathy makes many things easier, prevents misunderstandings, and ensures a more harmonious everyday life.
Self-determination is a value that constantly challenges me.
I've noticed that living a self-determined life is often difficult – not just for me, but for many people. Even without explicit prohibitions, expectations, social norms, and external circumstances influence our decisions. At the same time, there are legal frameworks that restrict self-determination – even in Germany.
Confidence is a value that our society should embrace more.
Because nothing changes if you bury your head in the sand. Confidence helps you look ahead, persevere, and find solutions together for the many challenges that life throws your way.
