Compassion is a value that guides me in life.
Because it is the beginning of connection, closeness, exchange and communication – from which everything else follows.
Solidarity and compassion are values that constantly challenge me.
Because I feel for people when they are suffering – whether through homelessness, poverty or loneliness – and I cannot or do not want to help them in those moments.
Helpfulness is a value that our society should embrace more.
Because then everyone is better off and people receive direct and quick help – without government administration.
