Reason is a value that guides me in life.
Reason guides me because it holds the key to acting correctly. Just because you know what is right does not mean you are always able to act correctly – that is only achieved through reason. At least I try as best I can.
Humility is a value that challenges me again and again.
Humility, because this value conquers every negative human trait, as long as one masters it. At the same time, it is so difficult to set aside one's ego, to forget one's arrogance, and to suppress the pride that, unfortunately, catches up with us too often in everyday life.
Love is a value that our society should practice more.
Love is the prerequisite for all values. Without it, a "value" loses its deepest meaning. Love, in particular, barely exists for most people anymore. This is not about love for oneself (self-care, health, etc.), but about love for your neighbor. The humble, unconditional love for every person in the world. That is true solidarity – not hatred and the condemnation of others under the guise of solidarity. If love were to increase, everything that torments humanity would gradually disappear.
