Fragility, privacy, Awakening the senses
Which values are reflected in your work and why?
In recent years, my focus has shifted to exploring textile objects, the history of decorative arts, and the women who practiced needlework. These values are often overlooked and rarely represented as high-quality visual art. I deeply appreciate the tactile nature of textiles, which reveals the sensitivity of their creators. Values such as fragility, privacy, the awakening of the senses through color, and weaving on a loom are at the heart of my artistic endeavors.
Which values currently influence your actions the most?
Values such as delicacy, private space, awakening the senses through color, and the act of weaving are at the heart of my research.
